Good location and much needed in Guilford due to few places to stay.

Friendly staff.

Located off Interstate 95, Comfort Inn Guilford is within easy access of an incredible variety of attractions including the Connecticut Children's Museum and Gillette Castle State Park. Leisure travelers will be deligthed to know that the property is very near Hammonasset Beach State Park. Peabody Museum of Natural History is also close by. At this lodging leisure travelers will appreciate being a short drive away from Rhode Island, New York and New Haven. Visitors can indulge in fine golfing and a variety of outdoor activities. After a long day of excursions, guests can unwind with a stiff drink at the nearby cocktail lounges or have a bit at surrounding restaurants. Guests, however, can also take advantage of the free complimentary breakfast spread thats prepared fresh daily and can be enjoyed while reading the complimentary newspapers on weekdays. Basic but clean and comfortable, this hotel meets the guests primal needs. This is a very clean and neat retreat that doesnt have many frills, but is inviting all the same. Accommodations do look rather new, offer plentiful space and are in fine repair. Sometimes gusts find problems getting connecetd through the internet. Although breakfast is simple, it is tasty and well prepared. Customer service is overall top-notch and extremely friendly, as well as informative about the area. Excellent value for the money.
