The hotel was perfectly adequate. The hotel and rooms were clean and well kept. However, there was nothing that made the location, the stay, or the room noteworthy. It did the job we expected, but nothing more.

This hotel is nicely located for day tours in the area with easy access to interstate and local roadways. The staff was very friendly and helpful with local service, restaurant and tourist information. We did not try the on-site spa. Restaurant for breakfast was quite good - in line with resort Marriott's. Location was not exciting and the available on-site activities were not resort level. If your plan is day trips, this is an ideal hotel at a very good price.

Staff was extremely helpful, concierge service by bell stand was as good as independent concierge at upscale city hotels and very friendly.

Off highway location was more typical of lower priced motels but internal to the facility was very pleasant and spacious with good services.

I think overall the hotel was very nice. The room and bathroom looked new (very clean). The room was very comfortable. The only drawback was that the walls were not insulated enough and we could hear all the conversation the next room was having. We could hear people talking late into the evening and then early in the morning. Also, housekeeping knocked on our door two mornings at 8:45 am. There wasn't a door knob sign to hang out that said do not disturb. We were awoken by housekeeping those two mornings.

Great for us to travel to the beach and other attractions. Very clean and comfortable.

The walls were so thin, you could hear the people in the next room asking if they wanted more powdered donuts, walls with no insulations.

The 285-room Marriott Mystic Hotel and Spa provides luxury accommodation equally suited to the upmarket business or leisure traveler. The six-story, non-smoking property has 21 meeting rooms for business or social functions. The largest, the Marriott Ballroom, can accommodate 1,200 guests. This full-service hotel is 45 miles from Providence Airport and 60 miles from Hartford Airport .There are five golf courses a short drive from the property. Area landmarks and attractions include the Mystic Seaport, USS Nautilus Museum, the Mystic Aquarium, the Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods and MGM Grand casinos, Pequot Museum and Research Center and the Olde Mystic Village Shopping Center.

Visitors to Mystic said this is a wonderful place to stay with superb service, spacious rooms and top quality dining. Many first time visitors said they were looking forward to returning as soon as possible. Couples said it was a great spot for a weekend getaway and executives were impressed by the conference facilities. There were gripes about having to pay for Internet access and the pool was smaller than come customers would have liked. Despite those problems, most clients said they had no hesitation in recommending the property to others.
