For those who need more space or privacy, vacation condominiums and residences combine luxury with the comforts of home. Tucked into the banks of Gore Creek, Vail Cascade Resort & Spa is a ski in/ski out luxury resort. Chair 20 is right outside the front door, so skiers and snowboarders can enjoy Vail's slopes. In the off season guests can enjoy plenty of mountain bike riding, hiking, golf and other outdoor activities. Guests can enjoy relaxing in comfortbale leather chairs around the fireplace in the lounge or enjoy a drink in the library. The resort has a Grill and Chophouse and bar. For those who want a day of relaxation the Aria Spa will take care of you. The General Store has offers an assortment of sundries. Childcare programs are available. The hotel can accomodate all business meetings and needs. The resort has a complimentary shuttle to Vail Village.

The reviews of the resort are mixed. Some guests loved it while others felt it was too expensive for what you get. The resort is in Vail. Some guests thought the rooms were slightly tired and dated, while others felt they were spacious and beautiful stating that they were in a postcard. All guests ranted and raved about Chaps Chophouse and Grill, some stating it was the best steak they have ever had. The shuttle to Vail Village is a quick 15 minute ride. Vail Cascade Resort & Spa Accommodations
This is a resort for those who like to be pampered. Guests will enjoy the privilege of ski in/ski out accessibility. Ski valet service is available. Two ski rental equipment shops adds to the convenience of renting or trying out new skis. Guests have access to tennis, racquet ball courts and yoga and personal trainer services on site. Golf courses are close by. Aria Spa has a variety of spa services. Chaps Grill and ChopHouse is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Fireside Grill has lots of apres ski action.
Amenities offered
The resort hotel rooms offer guests a view of the mountain, courtyard, valley or creek. Guests can choose between rooms with a king sized bed or two queen beds. One will enjoy getting under a duvet cover with oversized pillows and pillowtop mattress. All rooms have internet access for a surcharge, coffee maker and refigerator, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and cordless phone. The television has premium cable channels and pay for view movies. All bath products are from Aria Spa. Guests staying in the condo will enjoy the luxury of a gas or wood fireplace. The condos have kitchenettes with a fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher. They also have 2 bathrooms. The condos are not ski in/ski out.

Vail Cascade Resort & Spa is located: Less than 2 hours, or approximately 100 miles, west of Denver via Interstate 70 About 25 minutes, or approximately 35 miles, east of the Vail/Eagle County Airport via U.S. Highway 6 and Interstate 70 A little over 3 hours, or 170 miles north of Colorado Springs About 3 hours east of Grand Junction along the Interstate 70 corridor Within Vail, Vail Cascade Resort & Spa is secluded mountainside along Gore Creek, just one mile west of Lionshead Village and three miles west of Vail Village. We provide our guests complimentary shuttle service to both villages throughout the year. Directions From DIA - Take I-70 West. Exit 176 (main Vail). At end of ramp, enter roundabout and go to the left under the Interstate. Enter the 2nd roundabout and turn right onto South Frontage Road (toward Lionshead). The resort is approximately 1.5 miles on the left. From Eagle County Airport - Take I-70 East for approximately 40 minutes. Exit 173 (West Vail). Enter roundabout and follow signs to South Frontage Road/Vail Village/Lionshead. The resort is located one mile on the right.
