Situated just south of historic downtown, where nearby wonderful shopping, dining and entertainment can be found, Hampton Inn & Suites Steamboat Springs offers a refined retreat that behold the majestic Rocky Mountains. Vacationers can head less than a mile away to the Steamboat Ski Resort to partake in the area’s most popular activity. After a long day guests can sit back at the large fire lit lobby or unwind with a drink at one of the lounges provided. A filling hot breakfast spread is served daily for guests free of charge, which can be enjoyed while reading a periodical from a newsstand available.

The hotel doesn’t look to be in very good shape and needs a lot of maintenance in areas such as carpeting, paint, wall paper and general cleanliness. Walls are paper thin and rooms facing the highway receive a lot of noise at night. Bathrooms hold fairly strong smells of mold and mildew. House-keeping isn’t professional or consistent. Customer service is almost abysmal and somewhat rude. The pool is dirty and the hot tub isn’t well maintained. Read our customer reviews?

From Yampa Valley Regional Airport take US Hwy. 40 East for 22 miles to Steamboat Springs. Stay on Hwy. 40 East (Lincon Ave.) through the downtown area. Hotel is one mile from Downtown Steamboat on 4 US 40 East (Lincoln Ave), on the right side of the road. From I-70 turn north on State Hwy. 9, travel 38 miles to Kremmling, CO., go west on US 40 to Steamboat Springs, CO. From the Mount Werner Rd., 60 3/4 miles on US 40 west.
