The staff was very friendly. The hotel was clean. The deluxe continental breakfast was a disappointment. The eggs were round, flat, scrambled patties that had a chalk like texture. The sausage patties were like rubber and there was no bacon.

Located just off Interstate 70, the Comfort Inn New Castle offers a convenient, economical, and clean place to stay while enjoying the local activities, which include Colorado Mountain College, Hot Springs Pool in Glenwood Springs, White River National Forest, Hanging Lake and Sunlight Mountain. Visitors will enjoy a wide variety of outdoor recreational activities like golfing, white water rafting, kayaking and skiing. There are several restaurants, cocktail lounges and specialty shops in the surrounding area, many within walking distance of the hotel. Free parking, maid service, and a variety of services are available to make short or extended stays more comfortable for business and leisure travelers alike.
