I stay in Holiday Inn Express hotels with some frequency and had reserved a "junior suite" because I was traveling on vacation. The room was very small in comparison to other Express locations, so I assume it is an older facility. They had taken their regular size room and crammed it with a sofa, sink area and small desk.

Many visitors were delighted with the friendly welcome they received when they arrived at this Montrose hotel and said the staff here did an exceptional job making sure everyone had an enjoyable stay. This is an older hotel but it is well maintained and the rooms are spotlessly clean and reasonably priced. There were good comments about the complimentary breakfast buffet and the great location, a 15-minute drive from the spectacular Black Canyon National Park. Several clients said they cannot wait to return to this Holiday Inn Express and planned to recommend the property to family and friends.
