La Quinta was a great choice for a birthday slumber party with 5 teenage girls and two adults. We were able to walk to an affordable casual restaurant, and the girls loved the cookies and the make-your-own waffles at breakfast. When we smelled tobacco residue in our non-smoking room, we were immediately given a new room PLUS gift certificates for movies/games/music in both of our rooms.

Nice location provided smooth, although busy, commute to Boulder. Cleanliness and customer service unmatched. Get to breakfast early so fumes from waffle, iron don't asphyxiate you.

Staff was excellent.

Breakfast was not pleasant, dining room smelled bad - hot grease smoke from waffle irons.

Families loved this hotel. The employees were extra helpful making sure younger travelers had a good time and most youngsters enjoyed the pool. There was a good selection of items to please everyone at the breakfast buffet and the rates were reasonable. Most guests said they would recommend this hotel to others and said they would stay here on future visits to Louisville.
