Nice and clean standard double room. Firm new beds. Daily towel changes. Pet friendly. 2nd visit also stayed in a standard double. The room was very different than my 1st visit. This one looks older. Nevertheless, it's still clean & neat. They might slowly renovating the rooms. Used the Internet service (with a fee) in the room & no trouble at all. Free outdoor parking. Checking out the 2nd time was rather slow because there was only 1 receptionist and lots of people checking out. Near a shopping area (Wal-Mart, Target) if you ever needed to buy essentials.

The Hotel had a very comfortable atmosphere as long as you didn't have to request anything from the staff. The front desk and customer service were very rude when you asked them questions about transportation. You can not get a shuttle to the Invesco Field. The transporation to downtown runs only every 2 hours and they never mentioned an early shuttle for the game even though I asked about it twice. They told me the first shuttle left at 1pm. When there was one at 11am to downtown.

The hotel offers many amenities that were important to me: free shuttle to the airport & other places; free parking; and an Avis Car Rental Desk on site. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The service was top notch. Don't miss the breakfast buffet! I'll definitely be back.

This hotel was average, not 4 or 5 star quality. The room was in so-so condition only, needed new carpet. The maids left the food trays outside our door for almost a day. Ok as a place to sleep, but lacking in efficiency. The room service food was good. Also, maid entered room without knocking first.

Hotel is great, desk upgraded us to a fantastic room for first time visit. Had a shuttle that took us everywhere, employees care about there visitors and it showed.

Hotel is very clean and service is outstanding, including the hotel staff and the dining staff. If you are looking for a downtown hotel, as we were, I'd suggest you consider another Doubletree Property.

We were not from Denver and were disappointed with the hotel's location. The hotel is NOT downtown as stated. To get to the hotel from downtown, you must go through a not so nice neighborhood. The inside of the hotel was a pleasant surprize. It was beautiful and clean. Our room was great. A soft king size bed, desk with Wi Fi available, fun decor, the works. Nice swimming pool and hot tub. The food at the Cafe downstairs was just okay, could use improvement.

This is a refurbished older hotel... keep that in mind when booking your room. The elevators are small and though there are eight of them, only three were running/available for guests at the time we were there (along with three other conference groups). There are a very limited number of King size beds available... but two doubles are plentiful! The restaurant staff was cheerful, accomodating, and sincerely interested in our comfort. What a joy! The downtown shuttle has limited hours so be aware if you want an early start on shopping or are planning a late night out.
