Met by very friendly, professional staff; breakfast hours not long enough. Will probably stay there again when leaving Denver. Great shuttle schedule!
Hotel Stay - posted on 03/22/2007
Was a good hotel for the money. We did ask for a non-smoking room and I am sure that the room had been smoked in.

got bumped from a flight. This hotel is great for an overnight stay when you are flying. The shuttle service makes the entire stay worth every penny. room is what I expected. Nothing fancy. this is not a resort. Its a hotel great for business travel. Its what I expected.

Description of room on website inconsistent - posted on 12/30/2005
The description of the rooms and services found on the web were glowing in comparision to the actual room and service. Many of the services and amenities advertised were not even available and the front desk seemed shocked that we thought they would be, such as coffee in the room, a working refrigerator, optional feather pillows, and restaurant. We were told they had never been available. The room was not well-maintained and definitely worn (carpet even torn at the bathroom entrance). This was definitely not a three diamond hotel/motel.The complimentary breakfast included cold cereal as well as bagels and cream cheese but no juice other than Sunny Delight, which is not even real orange juice.Restaurants described as "across the street" were in reality three-four blocks away and on the far side of a heavily traveled four-lane street with no pedestrian walkways, traffic lights or stop signs. The front desk personnel were not friendly or helpful, actually making the guests feel they were imposing by asking questions, e.g. shuttle times/reservations. The first hotel shuttle for the airport left before it was scheduled to leave, even by the clocks in the lobby and although we had "reserved" a place on the shuttle. We were offered no apology or explanation other than a shrug. We were simply told we coud get on the next shuttle, which also left before the scheduled departure time.

Liked the desk area in the corner and the free internet service. My request for a room away from the elevators was accommodated, in fact, I was the in the room that was the farthest away from the elevator.
Very handy - posted on 12/20/2005
This hotel is very handy when transiting Denver, being close to the airport. It does lack amenities and particularly evening restaurant facilities - few tired travelers want to walk 5 blocks in the cold to get to a restaurant. The snack dispenser in the lobby did not work when I visited either. The continental breakfast is sparse and could be improved at very little cost. The rooms were clean and warm and overall the Red Roof is affordable and a good overnight choice for business travelers, families and singles.

Everything was fine. I was very happy for choosing the Red Roof Inn. I will stay with you again.
Pillow shortage - posted on 04/12/2005
My wife and I and our 4 children stayed in a suite here our last night in Colorado. Front desk refused to provide more pillows after we found only 4 pillows in suite. Very nasty employees. Insisted no more pillows available in whole hotel. Worst hotel I ever have experienced-definitely not for families.
