Sometimes, bigger can be better, as in the case of the Marriott Denver Tech Center, a behemoth with 625 guest rooms and 25 meeting rooms on 11 floors in Denver’s southern suburbs. The hotel in the heart of the Denver Tech Center neighborhood of office parks and high-rise buildings does everything on a large scale, but with the individual guest’s needs in mind: huge landscaped interior public areas, three popular restaurants, modern and comfortable renovated guest rooms and the highest of high-tech meeting spaces. The Marriott is Denver’s third largest hotel and while it caters heavily to business travelers and the conference trade, it keeps in mind families traveling with conference-goers and locals by offering weekend escape packages, family fun packages that include a variety of entertainment options and even romantic getaway weekends.
Does HotelsByCity recommend this hotel?
The Denver Marriott Tech Center loves and seems to be loved by the business traveler. But the hotel’s convenient location right along interstate highways 25 and 225 make it a great place for spouses and families tagging along on a business trip. While it’s not convenient to downtown Denver, the Marriott’s location is a pleasant base for high-end or big-box shopping, golf and fine dining in the surrounding area and an easy departure point for day trips to the mountains or southern tourist sites like Colorado Springs. It also is an easy drive or ride to Denver International Airport (shuttle service provided by the hotel). Its suburban location makes it a comfortable place for visitors from similar outposts in other metropolitan areas who do not want to be roaming alone in the heart of a strange city.
