Located in the heart of Downtown Denver, everything you need is at your feet, literally! From coffeehouses to the Art Museum, a deli to the Performing Arts Center, Coors Field (go Rockies!) to world-class concerts and events at the nearby Pepsi Center, it's all walking distance from this historic hotel.
Does HotelsByCity recommend this hotel?
Comfortable, accommodating, elegant, excellent location, and everything you need nearby. I would recommend this hotel to anyone from the recreational traveler (get a spa massage after an extensive day outdoors) to the business professional (high speed Internet, nearby WiFi cafes, close location to the convention center and downtown businesses like Coors-Molson). Probably not a great option for families as it is a higher-end hotel and didn't seem to offer many kid-friendly amenities as other hotels do. Read our customer reviews?
The beds are amazing. Staying in a king room, I never wanted to leave. Featherbeds, feather pillows, and impeccable maid service made the stay very enjoyable. When a problem with a room next to us arose, it was resolved in less than 5 minutes. Even my roommate and I looked at each other in disbelief. We'd never seen hotel staff reply so promptly in the wee hours of the morning!
Valet service was kind, friendly and the price point was comparable to the rest of Denver's valet services. A beautiful foyer starts the entire experience and it only gets better from there. The in-house lounge felt like we had traveled to a secret back-alley treasure that only the locals know about. The atmosphere at Harry's bar was great. Music, a crowd, but still plenty of seating for our party of four. We were able to talk and laugh without having to shout or constantly repeat ourselves. Romance, dinner and spa packages range from the economical (less than $200) to the extravagant (almost $500). There is a great health club (although who wants to work out when you can walk through Denver's great downtown and city parks?), and high speed Internet so you can escape to the Rockies but stay in touch.
