One night - but nice - posted on 06/20/2006

We were only at CMR for one night, but enjoyed it. The room was quiet, comfortable, and clean. Your staff was great.

Very Nice... - posted on 05/31/2007

Very close to the attactions. Great service and accomadations. Peaceful and the most awesome scenery from the balacony. Restaurant meals were "OK" but there are plenty of good places to eat near by.

Nice Stay - posted on 04/24/2007

Room was comfortable and nice. Turn down every night by the time we got back in was a nice touch. Walk out balcony was enjoyed and used with a great view of the xmas lights at the zoo. Entrance and lobby was all lit up for the holidays which was pretty. We plan to go back because of our great experience.

This hotel was a great place to stay, close to many attractions and Manitou Springs. My husband and I loved it, we will be back this summer with friends.

In the shadows of the Cheyenne Mtn and Pikes Peak - posted on 04/04/2007

What a nice place. Great golf course, lake, vistas and close to everything. Nice common rooms and business meeting areas.

Lovely view - posted on 09/08/2006

Next time I would request a top floor. We were often woken or bothered by footsteps above. When we arrived they said that breakfast was not included even though it states "free breakfast" on the website, I printed out the webpage page and showed it to the staff and they were very accomadating. It was worth it because the breakfast was dekicous. They had the best banana bread on the buffett I've ever had. It's a lovely property, one morning there we 3 deer within 5 feet of the door.

The setting for this hotel is breathtaking and it is very convenient to lots of the tourist attractions. The pool, tennis and golf are great and so are the restaurants.

Very Disappointed With The Resort--I Left ASAP - posted on 08/11/2006

The resort is large, spread out, OLD (although attempts to remodel have been made) but it SMELLS old, stale, like it has been smoked in. I was stunned they would charge what they charge per night. I chose to leave. They did let me out of my room commitment, but they charged me $4 for the bottle of water my son drank while they marched me all over the resort to look at rooms!

Such a relaxing, well-run,lovely place. The staff is efficient and friendly. The view from our balcony of the mountains, golf course and lake was beautiful. X at the front desk is a dream. She knows everything and is so helpful. We would definitely go back.

This hotel has everything a family needs! You have access to a beautiful country club, with golf, tennis, indoor/outdoor pools, a small lake beach, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, beach volleyball and more! Rooms are good sized. Views are spectacular! Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Good Price & Location - posted on 05/31/2006

We stayed here for a week and had a great time. Service is excellent. The only problem we has was with some SNOOTY people who seemed even too good for this resort.

Almost a great resort - posted on 05/29/2006

Rooms have been very nicely remodeled; the furnishings are nice and comfortable. However, the buildings are fundamentally old and show it. Noise (both from footsteps above and screaming children from next door) was a major issue. Highest quality hotel Internet I've ever experienced -- direct Global Crossing backbone connection. Price not much more than some of the nearby motels. Staff was friendly and humorous. Recreation opportunities and dining seem very strong, but we didn?t try them.

Overrated - posted on 04/21/2006

For a highly-rated hotel, it needs work. My room phone wouldn't do 1-800, wireless Internet didn't work, ice machine too far, no remote for TV, and I think I got bit twice by bed bugs.

This resort is wonderful! There is a mountain view from almost anywhere. The fitness/activity area includes swimming, tennis, golf etc. We found this one of the best vacation spots we've found yet. Highly recommend!

Better than the Broadmoor - posted on 07/03/2005

This resort is excellent. I am amazed at the quality of service, the dining facilities and overall excellence. The views are gorgeous. We visited the Broadmoor on our trip and while it was lovely, the Cheyenne gives a better Colorado feel for your trip and the service/ambiance is actually better! (and you can save hundreds!)

Fantastic experience! The resort was beautiful. Our room overlooked the golfcourse and had a mountain view. The resturant was great and room service was quick and reasonable. The room was great.
