Overall a wonderful stay. The rooms are very clean and spacious, and it was nice to have a refrigerator in the room. It was exactly what we were looking for.

Spacious rooms, continental breakfast, refrigerator in-room.

They called @ 11:15 a.m. asking if we wanted another night stay because we hadn't checked out just yet.

It was a decent hotel. The hostess' were very talkative amongst them and did not greet you as you walked in. They sat behind the counter on the floor as if too lazy to stand. The room was clean and comfortable, but with 4 people in the room it became warm and uncomfortable with the a/c cranked to full cold.

The pool was indoor and it was nice to swim without being outside in the cold.

While the room was decent and the price was decent, hotel staff seemed to be very unwilling to greet as you walked in.

The pet-friendly Comfort Suites Castle Rock is near the Douglas County Events Center and comprises 66 reasonably priced suites designed for families on vacation or the business traveler. Items included with the room rates at this three-story hotel are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, in-room coffee, local telephone calls, a newspaper on weekday mornings and parking. There are meeting facilities for business or social functions. There are 45 golf courses within a 45-minute drive of the hotel. Other area landmarks and attractions include Six Flags Elitch Gardens, the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Horse Park, the Robert A. Christensen Justice Center, the Denver Zoo, Ocean Journey, Garden of the Gods and shopping at the nearby Prime Outlets.

This Comfort Suites does not get all good reviews. But we give it the YES rating because the rates are reasonable and the employees do a great job solving problems promptly and providing useful information for newcomers to town with tips on the best places to shop and dine. The complaints about the accommodation looking tired will hopefully be taken care of and those who say the will not return here will give this hotel another chance. Most visitors said the complimentary breakfast was better than expected and made a great start to a morning in Castle Rock.
