Clean and functional hotel with friendly personnel. Great for the traveler.

The room was clean and functional and the internet connection was strong.

Lobby could be more central to the building and parking flow better.

I felt the pricing should have been around $70. verses $100. based on the level of service available. It was very clean with new carpet, bedspreads, fresh paint etc. and it had a very nice breakfast bar which is included in the price.

Although the hotel was older, everything was very clean and updated in the room and dining area.

It had the basic amenities and no more which would have been okay if the price was lower but I expected more for $100.

A nice place to stay for tourist in the vicinity of Canon City (a nice town) with few other options this hotel is a great place to stay.

I liked the overall look of the hotel.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable.

Items included with the room rate at this 82-room, non-smoking hotel are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, in-room coffee, a morning newspaper and parking. The famous Royal Gorge Bridge and the Royal Gorge Route Railroad are five minutes form this three-story hotel. Other area landmarks and attractions include the white waters of the Arkansas River, the Dinosaur Depot Museum and the Winery at Holy Cross Abbey.

This is a nice hotel on the outskirts of town and most visitors who stayed here had an enjoyable time. Many said it was an easy drive to the attractions and the helpful team of employees had lots of helpful hints about the best places to visit. The rooms were clean and comfortable and most visitors had no problem recommending this Holiday Inn Express to fellow travelers.
