Customer Reviews for Village at Breckenridge

Breck in Spring '07 - posted on 03/29/2007

Arrival day overall first impression of lobby/check-in was dirty and poorly lit. Resort has 1 hotel building and all others are condos. Building that comprised hotel rooms, where we stayed, was well maintained. Room with 2 double beds had nice amenities like coffee maker, small refrigerator, iron and board, and was clean. Maid service usually late in the day, but made up by the abundance of clean towels left in room. Concierge personnel were friendly and helpful. Overall for the convenience to ski area and town I do recommend staying.

Great Location - posted on 02/11/2007

Close to the slopes and lifts, Short walk to a charming town with crepes, a wonderful Swiss fondue restaurant, and unique shops. 4 outdoor hottubs and a fine little pool make "The Village' req area a wonderful place to relax after a day on the slopes. Condo units have a well out-fitted kitchen. Only wish that the beds in our unit were more firm and comfortable.

Terrible customer service - posted on 12/14/2006

Overall employee attitude was horrible. Our toilet could not be fixed in the middle of my stay and we had to go to lobby for restroom facilities.

Great location - posted on 12/02/2006

If your a ski bum- this is the place to stay! It was so close to the lifts, maybe 50 yard out the door! It was also very close to downtown so you never had to drive anywhere. underground parking also a nice feature, as well as all the activities from the pool and hottubs to the fitness room! I thought it was an excellent place to stay and will definelty be back soon!

OK Rooms. Great location. - posted on 06/23/2006

Great central downtown location (if you want downtown rather than slopeside). Parking is akward in very tight underground garage; better not arrive in a Surburban! Rooms are a little worn, but bedding was good. Rooms have a small room for the commode, a small room for shower and the sink in main room. It's a nice idea and speeds things up when 3 or 4 people share a room.

Nice Stay - posted on 04/11/2006

The rooms are simply OK...but we didnt stay there for the rooms. The shops/resaurants/& ski lifts are only a piching wedge away. No need for a car. A lot for kids to do at the resort (game room/indoor pool/etc...) I would stay there again.

Slopeside Breckenridge - posted on 04/11/2006

This is definitely a family town. We have young teenagers, and they loved it. After skiing, they would walk around town to shop and eat. And we felt secure in letting them. The slopes and shopping and dining are right outside of your door. The only negative thing was ski school. We had a rookie with us, and were not really impressed.

Good place to stay - posted on 04/07/2006

This resort is in a wonderful location. It's close to the slopes and within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We stayed in hotel building and the rooms were somewhat antiquated. The mattresses definitely need to be replaced, but other than that it is a great place to stay.

Fantastic Location, Average Rooms - posted on 01/17/2006

In the hotel portion, the rooms are good sized with a great location in the town. The only problem faced with the hotel room was the quality of the beds. There was 1 king and 1 full bed in each room, and each matress would not let you sleep more than 2 hours at a time.

Dirty room - posted on 03/09/2005

Room was dirty (walls, carpet very very dirty). Room was way too small for 4 people. Not enough light in room (very dark)

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!! - posted on 01/03/2005

Don't take a chance on this place-you are sure to be as sorely disappointed as we were. Facility severely needs updating in common areas and rooms-mattresses, carpet and plumbing worn out, housekeeping extremely poor, service staff poor. The parking was poor and overpriced - location of this hotel was the ONLY good thing about this property.
