This motel is really for a budget traveler. Rooms are average at best, bathrooms are old and out of date. Breakfast is very average. They have the space to be better but need to put in some money. They have No Internet at this site!

The hotel is low budget in some aspects, but great in others. The shower was hot or cold and hard to get the right temp. The heat was not working when we arrived so they sent up space heaters. I called and let them know that was unacceptable we had children. They did send up the engineer and he got the heat working but it never went off the one temp. The beds were horrible, but we were so worn out it didn't matter. It is close to the mountain and the staff and breakfast were great. They had hot chocolate all the time and that was nice. I would look for something else next time.

This is a Vail owned MOTEL. The bathrooms are disgusting, the beds are horrible, the hotel staff are non-existance. I highly recommend staying somewhere else for a few dollars more.

At the time it was by far the cheapest thing available. I got what I expected. The bathrooms were pretty gross and need some improvement. There was no controlling the thermostat. All in all it wasnt that bad for the price I paid.

location was amazing for the $$ spent. Rooms were disgusting at best. Bathrooms were falling apart, the iron was from 1950 something, no ironing board, my dog sleeps on a better bed/comforter than this place can offer. Thermostats do not operate in the rooms
Breckenridge Lodge okay for the Cost - posted on 01/16/2006
Hotel was okay for the price, rooms were small and a little beat up. The place is walking distance (5 minutes) with kids from the chair lift. Breakfeast in the morning is okay.

This hotel was exactly what i would expect to get for my money. It wasnt the nicest hotel ive ever been in but it was exactly what i needed. And the location was absolutely wonderful. It is right downtown in Breckonridge which is one of the coolest little towns ive ever seen. You can walk to plenty of shopping and resteraunts.

The rooms are very small for the money, many other hotels larger close by that for not much extra. When researching this hotel many sites listed a continental breakfast, it's not available during summer. The iron appeared to be from the early 70s. However it is very close to the ski resort, and the shopping district.

We had very little hot water and the bathroom looked either very old or not very clean. OK for one night but probably wouldn't stay there again unless they did some upgrades.
