This 266-room luxury hotel is well suited to the leisure traveler anxious to explore this part of Southern California. The Hyatt Westlake Plaza has all the facilities of an upmarket resort but at the price of a standard hotel. The property has a fine fitness center and there are cycle and jogging tracks nearby. There are three golf courses and several tennis courts within easy reach. Points of interest close to the hotel include: Malibu Beach, Santa Barbara, Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and the J. Price and location are the two main reasons that guests return here. Free parking is appreciated by many former visitors. There were complaints about the high price of Internet access and some businessmen missed the quick breakfast option offered at other Hyatts. Fortunately there is a Starbucks and Coffee Bean nearby.
