The pet-friendly Quality Inn and Suites Weed is located in the historic lumber town of Weed in Siskiyou County and comprises 50 reasonably priced rooms equally suited to the business and pleasure traveler. Items included with the room rate are a continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The property enjoys great views of Mount Shasta. The hotel is one mile from the college of Siskiyou. Other area landmarks and attraction include the Black Butte Trail, Castle Crags State Park, Lake Shastina, Lake Siskiyou, and the Weed Lumber Town Museum.

This was formerly a Holiday Inn Express and it got good reviews then and they get better now that the property has become a Quality Inn and Suites. Those who have stayed here say the views are wonderful get a mountain view room if you can and the location is close to the highway and restaurants but far enough away that noise is not a problem. Those who paid more for a suite said it was worthwhile to have the added benefits of a refrigerator and microwave oven. Most clients thought the rates reasonable and they had no problem recommending the property to others.
