The pet-friendly Holiday Inn Express Walnut has been refurbished and provides quality affordable accommodation for both the business and pleasure traveler. Items included with the room rate at this two-story, non-smoking hotel are a hot breakfast buffet, midweek barbecue, a shuttle service within a five-mile radius of the hotel, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, in-room tea and coffee and parking. The property has easy access to Interstate 680 enabling a simple drive to Oakland, San Francisco, San Jose, and all parts of the San Francisco Bay Area. There is a BART station three blocks away that can put you into San Francisco within 30 minutes. There are two meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The larger can accommodate 25 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include St. Marys College, Concord Pavilion, Mount Diablo Park, Water World USA and upscale shopping at the Broadway Shopping Plaza.
