The hotel is very nice equal in decor to some 4 or 5 star hotels.I was there for peace of mind, rest and relaxation with internet access for my school work.I was able to do just that. The bed was very comfortable, I especially enjoyed the pillows.Maid service abided by the tag on the door and didn't disturb me(I have experienced hotels where the maid would try to come in tag didn't matter.The staff was very helpful, courteous attentive and friendly.

The bed was very comfortable. It was peaceful and that's what I needed at the time.

I didn't like paying for parking. The hotel has valet parking. Felt as if I was held hostage no choice.

Very clean and nice, but we were put right by the elevator which we could hear all night long through the wall. Otherwise very clean and I would stay here again.

Rooms were clean, we traveled with babies.

The 338-room Marriott Walnut Creek is located in the heart of San Francisco's East Bay and is just two blocks from the Walnut Creek BART Station. Sadly this is one Marriott that does not get great reviews. Those who were able to get a low price here said the property was o-kay. While others who paid top dollar said it was overpriced. The hotel does get a YES rating because of its quality accommodation and the efforts of some employees to be efficient and helpful. There were many complaints about the high cost of parking and the valet operators, and the location next to a construction site. The hotel can do nothing about the latter but it can improve the former.
