A clean, high class hotel in an awesome location; close to shopping. My friends and I felt like royalty stepping in the door! And it was only a 3-star hotel.

This is a very nice hotel, especially for business travelers and couples. The rooms are nice, but I wouldn't consider them upscale.
It is clean and in a great location.

This is a very nice hotel but the execution was somewhat lacking. At check-in, we discovered that our bathroom had been used after housekeeping had been there, resulting in somewhat of a mess. The room (4th floor) also smelled like cigarette smoke, which we were later told was because we were directly above the smoking rooms (3rd floor.) Room service breakfast took over an hour to arrive, the food was cold, and they brought only one set of utensils for two meals. Also, we were there for a wedding, and the hotel gave away the Honeymoon Suite that our friends had booked well in advance.
The hotel is visually very appealing.
Staff displayed terrible attention to detail.

The least expensive rooms have a choice of one king+size or two double beds, work station with Internet access, granite bathroom with hairdryer, cable TV, dual line phones, voicemail and coffee maker. The 24-hour front desk handles currency exchange and has information on the nearby attractions of Six Flags California and Universal Studios. It was the ladies who gave top marks to this Hyatt. The hotel location near shops and boutiques was perfect while their husbands were at work. They particularly enjoyed lunches in the gardens, spacious accommodation and friendly hotel staff. Families, too, enjoyed the location since it was within driving distance of theme parks.
