I can't say enough about the cleanliness of the hotel and helpfulness of the staff. The entire town of Solvang was wonderful. If you are coming to the area, you need to allow plenty of time to walk the streets and enjoy the Danish theme.

The hotel was right in the middle of town, walking distance to anything.

Two days was not enough!

Great, central location in downtown Solvang, within walking distance of most attractions. Very friendly staff. Clean accommodations, but a little worn looking. Nice swimming pool.

Great centralized location. Nice swimming pool.

No cross ventilation; couldn't leave windows open due to safety concerns. Had to use AC, from which I developed a chest cold.

The hotel offers a quaint retreat that is situated dead center in Solvang within easy reach of such attractions as Hans Christian Anderson Park, and the Alisal River and Ranch Golf Courses. All guests who stay here can start their days by digging into a complimentary continental breakfast, however those who would rather eat out can choose from one of various unique establishments available in the surrounding area. For a nice outing visitors can head for a short drive to Lake Cachuma where boating and fishing are available.

The location is an ideal starting spot for checking out downtown. The front desk is friendly and efficient, which can be said about the staff overall. Accommodations are plain, featuring old fixtures, but are spacious and immaculate, as well as come well equipped and stocked. Extremely comfortable mattresses will ensure a restful nights sleep for even the lightest sleeper. The swimming pool and spa tub are inviting.
