I would recomend this Marriott as a very solid 3 star hotel within 30 mins of San Francisco. It's location is perfect for all east bay locations.
Very clean nice lobby and room great room service friendly staff beautiful redwood tree landscaping excellent pool and spa
3-5 minutes for valet to show up at station to take my claim check and retrieve my car - friendly though when he did arrive

I've been staying at similar hotels for the past 3 weeks & this by far was my least favorite. They charged extra for everything-parking (San Ramon is rural & there is tons of space for parking), charged for internet in the room, didn't have a in room refrigerator/bar which all made for a very annoying stay. I will not stay here or recommend anyone to go to this hotel in the future.
It was clean, near shops & the highway.
They charged for everything internet (free at other hotels), parking (it's located in San Ramon, not San Francisco!), & no refrigerator in room.

This is one of those Marriott hotels where everything works well. Those who have stayed here give it great reviews for its luxury accommodation, with very comfy beds, and top notch service from a professional team of employees who are quick to respond to problems and have lots of helpful information to make first time visitors feel at home. Many were impressed by the large pool and well equipped gym. Those who dined here said the meals were excellent but expensive. The location is great, within walking distance of shops and restaurants and most clients say they cannot wait to return to this hotel.
