The pet-friendly Residence Inn by Marriott San Mateo comprises 160 suites designed for the extended stay business or leisure traveler. The two-story, non-smoking hotel is close to San Francisco Airport and operates a complimentary shuttle to that facility. Travelers who need to be near San Francisco Airport say this is a great place to stay. There is plenty of space between the apartment buildings and the suites are well equipped, well maintained and have all the things you need for a long stay. Several guests said the employees were extra helpful and the housekeeping staff was happy to adapt their cleaning times to accommodate clients. Most guests said they would recommend this Residence Inn to others and would stay here themselves on future visits to San Mateo.
