If the room had been "ready" it would have received a better rating from me. However, when I mentioned this problem upon checkout, the front desk person offered to comp my meal at Dennis, but we had already eaten breakfast. This was a nice jester to make up for the room not being ready.

Great location nearby beaches and conveniently located close to the I5 freeway.

The room they gave me looked as though it was having repair work done. So, there was a slight mess and the portable closet was out of place.

Centrally situated off of Interstate 5, Best Western Capistrano Inn is a fine vacation-style retreat that features an inviting and relaxed contemporary theme throughout for visitors to bask in. The property is situated within walking distance of the frequented historical district and offers easy access sandy beaches, a number of parks and golfing sites. Guests may also take advantage of a free 24-hour local shuttle service. Although there a number of delicious eateries in the immediate area, you can dine in for the most important meal of the day while reading a complimentary newspaper or tapping into the wireless high-speed internet that is provided throughout the hotel.

The hotel is nicely situated within walking distance of Old Town San Juan Capistrano. It is also convenient to the freeway to San Diego and LA. Staff members are friendly and very service oriented. The lobby and other common areas are tastefully decorated and make great spots to hang out. Rooms are clean, but do show some signs of wear and could do with newer furnishings. Beds are fairly out of date and somewhat uncomfortable.
