Homestead Studio Suites San Jose-Downtown, 1.5 miles from the San Jose International Airport, is within easy walking distance of Siemens and Hitachi company offices. Children’s Discovery Museum, Paramount’s Great America, San Jose Arena, Tech Museum of Innovation, the Great Mall of Bay Area, Westfield Shopping Center and Winchester Mystery House are minutes away from the hotel. Incoming fax is complimentary. But the hotel charges a fee for outgoing fax and copy services and wireless high-speed Internet. One complimentary full housekeeping service, including replenishing toilet paper and soap, cleaning of kitchen and bathroom, emptying trash, changing towels and linens, vacuuming and dusting, is offered once in the entire stay.

This pet-friendly hotel is an ideal choice for extended and long stays. Visitors had a mix opinion about everything. Some of them liked proximity to airport, clean comfy sleeping rooms, good rate and polite and helpful staff. But others were disappointed with worn out dirty blankets, hallways and non-smoking rooms reeking of smoke, noisy refrigerators and stinking rooms. You can choose from studio suite rooms and deluxe studio suite rooms. Studio suite rooms feature full kitchens, equipped with stovetops, microwaves, refrigerators and cooking and dining utensils; work space and computer data ports; full-size ironing boards and irons; and personalized voice mail.

Amenities offered

Guests can prepare full meals, snacks and hot and cold beverages in the comfort of the suites but there is no restaurant on the property. If you do not want to cook, try nearby restaurants. The hotel offers guest laundry facilities; and enables access to an off-site fitness club for convenience and comfort. There are only two entertainment options: watching television and surfing Web and chatting.
