The location of this property worked out well for business and activities in the evening. With easy access to the freeway in both directions and three nice shopping malls, this turned out to be real nice. The free breakfast bar is served in their restaurant, making it very comfortable. A very nice swimming pool and hot tub, along with a nice putting green. The room was a little small, but the bed was nice and provided a nice sleep.

The continental breakfast was great, the lounge entertainment was also a good time..I would visit this hotel again when in San Jose.

Just spent a weekend at the Clarion. Beginning with the friendly shuttle driver to the ammentities and location, it was a terrific stay. Close to everywhere.. San Fran is 45 mins, downtown San Jose is 10 mins (with free shuttle service), Santa Cruz is 45 mins. The free hot breakfast is the best! The restaurant and bar (which turns into a great little nightclub) has a variety of offerings and is a place to have a great time without the major club scene. Highly recommended. Would be nice if it had interior corridors, but a great place at a great price.

Although the Breakfast Bar was Awesome the Parking left a bad taste in your mouth. Staff were really nice and willing to help if need be. Hotel and gounds were spotless. I really would not mind stay here again. But please work on the parking.

Loud parties almost every night(until 3am one night). Dirty rooms. No clean sheets in 6 nights. Hair in food 3 out of 6 meals. No sleep for a week. Great pillows, nice pool & nice staff. This hotel is overrated at 3 stars.

This was perhaps one of the cleanest, best maintained rooms I have encountered in my business travels. While this property has some age on it, the parts I encountered were highly maintained and very clean. Property is on the edge of a business park and a bit isolated from outside food choices but close to light rail and highways. Varied full breakfast choices came with room. I felt very good value for the price and will stay again.

Stayed here after a day in SF, bed was GREAT and super comfy. Room was clean, no weird smells, and very cozy. The bar is cute and fun with live music. Had a great time and will stay again.

Very nice place to spend a couple of days. The putting green (golf) was a plus. The hot breakfast buffet was the best feature of all. Room was clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Room was good--clean and comfortable. Washer was clean (didn't use dryer) and not expensive. Best feature was staff-very hospitable and courteous.

the lobby has been remodeled.. once you leave the lobby, look out.. was suppose to stay 3 nights, but checked out after 1... front desk help was poor.. no elevators.. NOT a 3 star hotel.. more like a 1 star...do not take your shoes off in rooms, filthy carpets.. all night long, people running up the steps and walkways (very loud).. the restaurant is the only one in walking distance..the dinners are good, the other hotels are alot better surrounding the clarion...

Overall our stay was acceptable. The carpet in the room was filthy and torn. The condition of the curtains & bedspreads left me feeling unclean... The selection of food in the attached restraunt was limited, strange & overpriced.

Excellent complimentary breakfast. Restaurant features entrees with a tropical flare. Lounge has entertainment 4 nights a week. Beware, lounge and restaurant are closed Sunday evenings. Rooms are adequate and clean. T1 and wireless available. 5 minutes from the airport and easy freeway access.

Breakfast room was great, but the service was so-so. Don't try to use their on-site laundry facilities. Apparently the machine had been broken, but no sign was posted, so our family of 4 ended up with soapy, wet clothes that had to be washed at our next stop. When we complained to the front desk, the staff didn't seem to care. Beds were not very comfortable, and made loud springing noises. I would have expected better service given the cost per night.

The bar was throwing a halloween party and the hotel parking lot was full when we returned from our event. The staff was great about helping out and placing car in lit overhang for the night.

The grounds of the hotel were beautiful, but the initial check in yielded an incorrect room. My reservation was for a room 2 queens and walked into a room 1 queen, which meant another trip to the desk. The room initially looked clean, but did not smell clean. Definately needs an improvement. Breakfast was good and nice to sit in a resturant.

Very close to airport, large room, comfortable bed, clean , nice pool and courtyard, very good cont breakfat that included hot waffles...husbands favorite!!!

The view of the pool from our room was amazing and the all you can eat breakfast buffet was outstanding. The room was very clean and the hotel staff was very hospitable. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel lobby and grounds were beautiful. Get a room on the inside overlooking the courtyard. The matress was uncomfortable and the furniture in the room rickety, but the room was clean and comfortable as was the bathroom. The restaurant in the hotel was very good. The exercise facilities adequate. All-in-all a good value.

I stay in all types of hotels/motels regularly and for the $, I would stay somewhere else. Nothing fancy, altho clean, but no fridge or microwave, which is standard in the less expensive places.I had to pay $10/night for a minifridge for my medicine and food.

Clean and quiet. Helpful staff. Breakfast was ok, but not exceptional. Good value compared to other hotels in area. More like a motel than hotel with outside doorways.

The restaurant and lounge had been a selling point, but both were closed (on a Friday night!) After being gone most of the day, we came back to find our room had not even been cleaned, and complaints did not result in housekeeping showing up. We had to go to the front desk to demand at least fresh towels. Never again!

The lobby and front desk is very appealing, however guest rooms do not compare. We booked a non-smoking room and were placed in a smoking room. Manager moved us promptly, but the non-smoking room smelled amost as bad.
