Fantastic visit - posted on 03/29/2007

Of all the hotels at which we have stayed, our stay at the Omni was probably the most pleasant. My wife and I were extremely impressed with the friendliness and attitude of the entire staff. Room was very nice, and hotel was not far from any of the major attractions. We were treated like the "wealthy," even though we are not.

Anniversary Weekend - posted on 01/15/2007

Our 4 night stay at the Omni was the best hotel experience we've had anywhere...hands down. Luxury suite, rooms cleaned to perfection, doorman, bellman, front desk...all professionals.

Pretty good - posted on 07/25/2006

The hotel is on a busy street, but our room was quiet. Nicely decorated throughout with a large bathroom. The only thing that is lacking is a place to walk our 2 yorkies. We had to walk up a very steep hill and there was a doggie area above a parking garage. There is also an additional charge for pets.

Rooms are small, dark, and dreary - posted on 12/22/2005

I have stayed at many luxury hotels in San Francisco, and this was not one of the best. The rooms were small and dark. I found the staff to be unfriendly, and the lobby is the only public area in the hotel. There is not even a gift shop. I would not recommend this hotel with so many other options in San Francisco.

loud room - posted on 11/30/2005

We had an 11th floor room. For some reason, we had continuous street noise so loud it seemed windows were not closed. Room and facility were quite nice. Expected much more from this facility.

Great Value and Service - posted on 09/09/2005

No one can come close to the Omni for their service. Everyone looks as if he/she is thrilled to work there.

Great visit! - posted on 09/06/2005

We visited this hotel for a weekend getaway and had a great visit. The room was a little small, but very nicely appointed and more than adequate for the price. The staff was great. Gave us great recommendations as far as dining and attractions. Bob's Steak and Chop House is one of our hometown favorites, and we were excited to find it at the Omni. Bob's never disappoints.

Anniversary at the Omni - posted on 08/09/2005

The Omni is the finest hotel experience we've ever had. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and were upgraded to a suite and recieved early check-in. The room was absolutely beautiful! We felt like royalty. Everyone on the staff was extremely accomodating. Call ahead and speak with the concierge regarding restaurant advice, reservations, etc. They are most helpful. Take advantage of the Town car service between 5 and 7 pm. Great location - good access to trolleys and buses. We will return to the SF Omni!

Very nice stay - posted on 07/20/2005

We had a great time, the staff recommended a great restaurant in china town and made reservations for us. Walked there, and also within walking distance to Little Italy.

felt like a princess - posted on 07/02/2005

The rooms were big, well decorated, with comfy beds. I felt like a pincess eveytime I walked in the room. The doormen opened the doors every time we walked up and the staff was helpful. Free internet. Expensive parking, but other parking available nearby.

Lacking in service and public facilities - posted on 04/21/2005

We booked this hotel because of the good location, but were very disappointed by the lack of service and public facilities. The hotel is in a renovated bank building and feels like a bank. No gift shop and a very small lobby. Staff was also very unhelpful and rooms were dark and depressing. We were also taken aback by the $55 per night parking fee.
