If you are in town on leisure, or will otherwise not be spending much time in your hotel room, this property is perfect. The rooms are small (think European size), but the location is perfect. It is less than a 5-minute walk to the Powell/Market station, which is the biggest public transit stop in the city. The neighborhood gets a little seedy after dark, but we never felt unsafe as the streets are well-lit and well-traveled. The desk staff and concierges are very friendly and helpful.

In 2008, no one should pay for internet at a hotel in America.

Very nice hotel with nice rooms, but you have to care, that there are also rooms with only shared bathrooms. We had our own bathroom and so it was good. The room could have been a little bit bigger. The location is the best available for travelers, who want to see San Francisco. It isn't located directly at Union Square.

The Mosser Hotel, situated between the Moscone Convention Center and Union Square, is a smoke free property. World-class nightlife and shopping venues, Westfield Bloomingdales Shopping Center, the Metreon, Cable Car Turnaround, Chinatown and Yerba Buena Gardens are close by. The highlight of the Mosser is Paradiso, a modern recording studio for amateurs and professionals. Its Victorian architecture is complemented with contemporary interior design. Complimentary wireless internet can be accessed from public areas and all guestrooms. Late checkout is permitted. The Mosser is working on a new range of green products.

This no-frills hotel offers all the basics for the convenience of guests. All guests loved its central location. They were satisfied with neat and tidy rooms, clean common bathrooms and toilets, bathrobes, muffins, coffee and helpful staff. It offered good value for the money spent. However, tiny rooms do not feature air conditioners.
