About the Best Western Tuscan Inn At Fishermans Wharf

Just next door to the delicious seafood and tourist attractions of San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf, the Best Western Tuscan Inn delivers clean and comfortable, if small and oddly-decorated rooms, for prices that won't hurt too much.

Does HotelsByCity recommend this hotel?

This hotel will meet your needs. Why you would want to stay in a weird fake Tuscan hotel in San Francisco is beyond me, but you won't kick yourself for staying here. Especially if you like free wine. Read our customer reviews?

Best Western Tuscan Inn At Fishermans Wharf Accommodations

The double room I had was very economically laid out. It had a comfortable double bed, a television and set of drawers, small table, and only one chair (a little inconvenient for two people). The decor was completely bizarre, but not unamusing. The bathroom was quite large--a couple of those square feet would be of better use in the hotel room.

Amenities offered

The Tuscan Inn's clientèle love the free wine and beer (cheap wine and Peroni, a light Italian beer) provided in the hotel's lobby during happy hour. The occasion provides a rare sense of community in a big, chain hotel. And who doesn't love a free drink? The hotel has a gym, but no pool. Hair dryer, coffee, satellite t.v. and free wireless! Tea, coffee and biscotti available in the lobby as well.

Directions (view map)

Coming from the San Francisco Airport, it makes the most sense to take Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) to Embarcadero and then get a cab to the hotel (the cabbie will know, but always keep the address and cross street written down in your wallet, just in case). BART is easy to use, comfortable, safe and it will save you a very pricey cab ride.
