Hyatt Regency San Francisco, just across historic Ferry Building Marketplace, is situated in the Embarcadero district. The hotel, a 20-minute drive from the Baker Beach in the Presidio National Park, is near picturesque pedestrian path- Embarcadero waterfront walking / jogging trail-, Chinatown, Transamerica Pyramid, AT & T Park, Union Square and Moscone Center. For convenience, confidence and comfort, the hotel has an ATM, a business center, gift shop, car rental and currency exchange desk and eateries besides comfortably appointed rooms. An array of services, including 24-hour security and front desk, concierge and express voicemail checkout enhance the stay.

This four star plush waterfront hotel is a good choice for travelers on holiday and business but the property is pricey. Most of the guests were unhappy about exorbitant cost of parking. Price of food in revolving restaurant, breakfast and Internet also put off many of them. A few guests also complained about noise, stained carpets and weak water pressure in shower. Hyatt offers six different types of smoking and non-smoking accommodations: Hyatt Gold Passport, Hyatt Business Plan, double/doubles, accessible rooms, kings/queens and suites/parlors. Each accommodation offers either views of the bay or the city. Daily newspaper is delivered in all rooms. Only revolving restaurant of San Francisco, Equinox, is located on the premises. Eclipse Café serves all meals in a relaxing environment. The hotel offers exhibit space, meeting rooms and prefunction space with all required facilities to organize a business and / or social event.
