We enjoyed our stay and had a comfortable stay. The hotel was within walking distance of food, entertainment and all public transportation. Taxi brought us to our hotel and picked us up when our stay was over. The experience was very pleasureable and hassle free.

This hotel has no views, but you can't beat the location. It's only a few blocks from Fisherman's Wharf and a cable car stop. There are some great quirky breakfast places nearby. Concierge nice, but not very knowledgeable. Doormen got our cabs quickly. Hotel was very accomodating and supplied fridge for medications. I would stay here again.

Clean, great location, sleek/ modern brown/blue/chrome, decor. H/A woke me,so loud when it kicked on, thought it was an alarm; called the desk-she offered to send someone to reset the clock radio? Maintenance said system was "functioning normally" in hotel's defense, I was offered another room.
short but sweet - posted on 04/21/2007
my 1st time up north & it was great. we were there only 4 days but that was more than enough to see all the major attractions such as alcatraz, muir woods, dodger vs giants game, chinatown, fisherman's wharf, local bars. a must do is 2 c beach blanket it's current and funny will make you laugh. Four or five day is more than enough in san francisco youll see it's short but sweet. be aware that you such book all attractions before getting to san fran cuz many will be sold out if you wait to purchase them there.

Surprise!! - posted on 03/08/2007
My first surprise was the lobby was under construction.Real classy I mean I paid top dollar for this room.My second surprise was the 39.00 dollars to park my car at their hotel. They this is normal in the city.I beg to differ I stayed around the corner at a cheaper hotel (2 blocks closer to the wharf)and didn`t have to pay for parking. The room and pool area were quite nice though.

Great hotel. Walking distance to lots of attractions. Good beds and flat screen was awesome!
Great Locatiion - posted on 02/15/2007
The rooms were great size and the beds were very comfy. We really enjoyed the on site resturant and the heated pool that allowed us to swim when it was only 50 degrees outside. The location of the hotel is perfect, less then a block from the cable car turn around and only a few blocks from many of the attractions. Hotel staff was very friendly. The only down side was that they were remodeling the lobby area so it smelled of paint as we walked through and probably was not kept as clean as it would be normally. I am sure it will be beautiful when it is done.

The hotel was very nice. The only complaint we had was that the air conditioner in our room wasn't working very well. The location was great, the room was comfortable for 4 people (we had a rollaway bed), staff was helpfull and courteous. The hotel was close to the cable car lines and we were able to use them to get almost anywhere.
Leave your car at home - posted on 09/28/2006
Great hotel, excellent staff, Megan at the front desk was the best! The location is perfect, close enough to the Wharf, but not so close to be bother by the noise/traffic. Parking is the downside. $40+ a day at the hotel. Leave your car at home. You can get anywhere on public transportation or your own 2 feet.
Construction - posted on 08/24/2006
Was under construction during my visit. The elevators are mostly a LONG WAY from the rooms

We went to the city to cool off, Hyatt was perfect. Great room, location, staff (esp. Renee at front desk) pool was wonderful.

Very nice and comfortable. Well worth the price. We intend to make this our regular hotel on all future visits
No Big Deal - posted on 05/04/2006
For the money that was spent I expected MUCH more. The elevators were so far away from the rooms (safety hazard?) All and all I would NOT recomend this hotel to anyone.
Great Stay - posted on 01/08/2006
The beds, pillows, and covers were super comfortable. We had a great night sleep. Budget Car rental on premises. They do not offer continental breakfast. Just coffe and tea on the house. Service, facility was great.

Nice facility and location but the parking was substandard. It was very expensive and it took a long time to get our car.
I'll Stay Again! - posted on 12/13/2005
Everything was great at this hotel. We took the Ferry from Vallejo (free parking there) and it was close walking distance from the ferry drop off at Fisherman's Wharf. The staff was great! I will stay at this hotel when I go to the city again.

The beds where comfortable with a nice location of the Hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. If you want to go to Alcatraz book early
Great Room - posted on 06/22/2005
Room had a great view of Telegraph hill, bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom had dual sinks, whirlpool tub and glassed in shower room, very luxurious. Location was perfect - walking distance to everything at the wharf yet far enough away from the crowds and noise (2 short blocks.)
Decent stay - posted on 04/01/2005
This hotel has great location. Resturant prices average for a big city. Parking on site is pricey- $35 a night! BIG PROBLEM is the POOL . DO NOT take an interior room if you want to sleep past 7am. The pool is in the courtyard and 8 and 10 year old voices echo enough to wake the dead and they love the water!!!

This hotel was located at just the right spot, just blocks away from Fishermans Wharf. There were manythings to da and you were just seconds away.
