The eight-story, pet-friendly hotel is located in Union Square, the cultural heart of San Francisco. Incredible! That word describes what many people thought of this magnificent Marriott. Everything about the property is luxury. The service is superb, the dining delicious, and the décor delightful. This is a very expensive place to stay – but the best always costs more. Several guests said that once you have stayed here anything else is very second rate. All the guest rooms, and six suites, have a one-touch 24-hour butler service. The ergonomically designed work desk with Herman Miller Aeron chair has high-speed Internet access. Other amenities are three telephones with voicemail and speakerphone, 42-inch LCD television with plug-in panel for laptops, digital cameras and MP3 players, bathrooms with separate shower, bathrobes and hairdryer; cable movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, iron and ironing board, coffee and tea making facilities, rollaway sofa bed, minibar, wet bar, alarm clock and an in-room safe.

From San Francisco Airport (SFO) 14 miles: Take US 101 N to I-80 E, towards Bay Bridge. Take the 4th Street Exit. Go straight one block, turn left on 3rd Street. Cross Market Street. 3rd Street becomes Kearney Street. Take Kearney Street for two blocks, turn left on Sutter Street. Follow Sutter four blocks, turn left on Mason Street. One block to the hotel which is on the right.
