Great hotel! Walk outside, and your at the Wharf. Our room had a view of Alcatraz. We stayed in the refurbished part of the hotel. The room was nice.

Great location and clean remodeled rooms.

Parking was expensive.

You cannot beat the location. Two short blocks up from Fisherman's Wharf, the cable car was a short walk away and Ghiradhelli Square was also a short walk away. The lobby area was busy and a bit crowded at check-out time. The neighborhood was a bit noisy. Timid travelers should get a room above the first floor.

The Location was great. Convenient to cable cars and waterfront.

Not overly quiet neighborhood.

The Holiday Inn Fishermans Wharf, a full-service hotel in central location, is about nineteen miles from San Francisco International Airport. Local points of interest such as Ghirardelli Square, Pier 39, Alcatraz, Fort Mason, Theater District and Financial District are minutes from the hotel. Offices of IBM, Levi Strauss and Pacific Gas & Electric are close by. This Holiday provides a host of amenities for both leisure and business travelers. All guests loved its location. Most of them were happy with comfortable spacious accommodations, pool and courteous and helpful staff. However, expensive breakfast and parking, and noise in some rooms were major concerns.
