The neighborhood has many fine theatres, eateries and shops. Powell & Mason / Powell & Hyde Historic Cable Cars, Chinatown, the Moscone Convention Center, Sony Metreon Entertainment Complex, Yerba Buena Center, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and theater district are just minutes away from the Chancellor. Pillow menu consisting of 12 different types of pillows, HBO, local calls and high-speed Internet workstation in the lobby are complimentary.

This centrally located hotel has everything for an enjoyable stay. All visitors were pleased with nicely decorated spic and span accommodations, comfy beds, complimentary popcorn, coffee, tea and Internet, breakfast at restaurant, bar, helpful and friendly staff, views of different points of interest, cleanliness, location and value for the money spent.
