I was hoping to book a quiet, comfortable hotel that would provide respite from a stressful business trip. The Campton met and exceeded that expectation. The room was quiet and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The entire staff was helpful

The Campton Place hotel, located in downtown San Francisco is a wonderful place to stay. The location is great, the rooms are very comfortable and spacious and the service is exceptional.

This hotel was superb in terms of location to Union Square, shopping, cable cars, China Town, etc. The food, service and accommodations were above average. The in hotel French restaurant was very upscale, a bit pricey but I certainly recommend this hotel.

Having stayed in some of the world's finest hotels, I can say this one clearly rates among them. Rooms are not large, but are well appointed. It is the personal service that is amazing. Service is always there without being intrusive. If you want to be left alone, you are, but staff seem to know exactly what you want, when you want it. Quiet. Ultra private. Food is fantastic. This hotel is a wonderful treat!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Campton Place Hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and they always addressed us by name. They assisted us in making reservations for dinner and activities. They had great suggestions for restaurants and tours. We never hesitated to ask any staff member if we had questions. They made our Honeymoon very memorable. The concierge even sent us a complimentary bottle of champagne on our first night. The hotel was immaculate. The room was incredibly comfortable and had every desired amenity. We would definitely stay there again.

We were booked into the X for a conference and they had overbooked so we were placed across the street. It was the best thing that could have happened to us. The staff was wonderful and the beds were the most comfortable I've ever slept in.

MY HUSBAND AND I WENT FOR A LONG WEEKEND TO CELEBRATE OUR 27TH ANNIVERSARY, WE WOULD NOT HAVE CHANGED A THING! CAMPTON IS THE BEST. THE FIRST ROOM THEY GAVE US WAS A BIT SMALL, WE ASKED FOR SOMETHING BIGGER AND THEY IMMEDIATELY SHOWED US OTHER ROOMS AND UPGRADED US AT NO CHARGE. THEY MADE OUR STAY VERY SPECIAL. WE HAVE STAYED AT A FEW OTHERS WELL KNOWN HOTELS AT UNION SQUARE AND CAMPTON IS BY FAR THE BEST! WE LOOK FORWARD TO A RETURN TRIP!
