Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Free parking is a bonus. Courtesy shuttle to union square runs all day, and I asked and got dropped at Moscone. Wi-Fi access on the lobby was great for my PDA, and the 2 PCs with internet also worked fine.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It's cheap, good service, free parking lot and good location. While l stayed there, security guards were very good. The only thing l would encourage is to check out the first couple of channels on TV so that you have an idea of what to do.It's really worth it for what you're paying. Good!!

This is my new spot in San Fran. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable and the staff is prompt and courteous. It's a short walk to the MUNI and parking is secure, although it's not free anymore. :( Other than charging for parking, I wouldn't change a thing!

Hotel was great but walking to and along Market St is a bit daunting. Make sure you take advantage of the free shuttle to Union Square!

I stayed there for 6 nights with six people in the room. we were all comfortable and pleased with the accomadations. Very helpful and caring staff. Beds are old and need replacing. Other than that not bad for the price. Restaurant staff is a little flaky.

Nice to have free parking, free shuttle & internet (but no VPN connection). The front desk staff was very friendly & helpful with food suggestions in the near by area. Bathroom is a bit small and has only a shower. It could be a bit noisy

Staff was very helpful and friendly, restaurant was surprisingly good. Room was very noisy, bed was hard as a rock. Parking was free -- unusual in SF.

Our family of 4 stayed two nights while on vacation in SF. The free parking, free shuttle to Union Square, and the friendly staff made this a good value. We had a fold out couch for the kids. The bathroom was a little small but acceptable. Free high speed internet was nice. We all had a good time.

Close enough to Market Street and Union Square to walk, but not after dark--immediate neighborhood a bit scary. Free parking & internet were a plus. The staff was friendly & helpful and the restaurant was excellent.

I've stayed at the BW Americania several times and have found the rooms to be clean and comfortable, front desk staff friendly an location very central. Parking included in the rate is a plus while lack of luggage assistance is a drawback. Overall, great value for the money and a place I always return to when I'm in the City for fun.

I found this hotel to be very charming and the staff to be most accomodating. It is a charming property and has the bonus of parking, a rarity in San Francisco. Don't take parking as an afterthought, as it is a serious problem in S.F. The rooms are nice and when my TV had a problem a maintenance person was there to fix it in 5 minutes.
