If you are traveling to San Diego on Business and do not need a pool this is the hotel for you. This brand new hotel is located in the heart of the Gas Lamp District. Many great restuarants are just a block or two away. My room was on the concierge level, this gave me access to the concierge lounge and a free breakfast. The service was great, the rooms were fantastic. Just two blocks from the convention center. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great hotel and location. Rooms were great, comfortable beds and amenities. Only problem is there is no pool on site and the restaurant continually got our breakfast order wrong all three days.

Location wise, the gaslamp qtr is the heart of downtown with easy access to the trolley, convention ctr, and ball park. The rooms here were especially nice, with attention to detail, especially the layout of the bathroom. The beds were comfy and room was immaculate, with a large desk for business travelers. The concierge was very helpful in helping me squeeze some sightseeing into my trip. In room coffee was Starbucks. There was no waiting for either checkin or checkout. Only ate at the restaurant once, for breakfast, the breakfast buffet was very tasty and reasonably priced.
