Bumped despite guaranteed late arrival - posted on 02/24/2007
We were on business trip, arrived at midnight, and were told we had no room. However they had arranged a condo like accomodation 18 miles away (wrong direction for next days meeting). No apologies given.

parking fees high valet not connected with hotel must argue to get marriott rewards concierge not always available not as nice as most marriotts

While the bed was wonderfully comfortable, the room, however, was nothing special. We were unable to have breakfast the next morning and they did not let us know we needed to make reservations for breakfast at check-in. We were very disappointed to be given Concierge level without any Concierge amenities available. We were very dissapointed to be in a business park area and not near the ocean. This was not a special vacation. Nothing special for New Years or my husband's birthday.

Convenient to the I-5, parking ramp ($11 overnight), comfy bed. Try the frittata with warm brie and mushrooms for breakfast!

Our experience with Del Mar Marriott was great; it was our experience with the restaurants that we were not satisfied with. We saw some good sushi at the bar, but we couldn't sit at the bar because we had a young adult under 21 with us. The restaurant wouldn't serve us sushi in the restaurant. We were told we had to eat that in the bar. We ended up eating in the waiting area.

The service at the hotel was wonderful, as well as the location of the hotel. One to the things I didn?t like was the room; I thought I was going to stay at a luxuries hotel. Parking you either have to pay $16.00 for valet a day or $ 11.00 a day.

My family and I had a wonderfull experience! The Fitness Facility was great! We all worked out together and then jumped in the pool! Very nice staff and beautiful hotel! I have told all my friends how great it was! Thanks

Stayed here for 7 days when I relocated to San Diego. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff and one of thebest restaurants in San Diego. The sushi bar is the best in San Diego. Overall a great bargain.
