Best Western Lamplighter Inn & Suites in San Diego California

Stayed three nights. Loved how clean and quiet it was. Slept well in the beds. The refrigerator and microwave worked properly. The outside "pet area" is very small, but there is a park behind the hotel--you have to go all the way around the block for access to the park though. Fantastic Thai restaurant nearby! Hummingbirds hang out by the pet area sometimes.

Our room was clean and newly remodeled. The room had a fridge and microwave which were an unexpected surprise. The staff was very friendly and helpful with information on the San Diego area. I will stay here again on return trips to the area.

we arrived 5 hours before check in time vaer, very tired from a long trip. the manager not only let us check in early, but gave us a free upgrade to a room with a kitchen. the staff is very nice, rooms are clean and well serviced. nice free brakfast. centrally located. i've spent three times as much for a hotel that was not half as nice as this one. highly recommend

We found the room clean, quiet, and very adequate for our needs. Fixtures and paint were new, furnishings very adequate for the price. Breakfast room was very small, so we went out.

They accomodated our LATE (we had Santa duty)check-in quickly and efficiently. Room was clean and quiet. Grounds and buildings in great condition, well kept with a Pet Area. Continental breakfast included a make-your-own-waffle bar.

I was extremely pleased with my stay. The breakfast in the morning was far beyond my expectations.(You can make your own waffles) Room was spacious and employees upbeat. Pillows were totally comfortable.
