The 210-room Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Rancho Bernardo provides quality accommodation at an affordable price for both the business and leisure traveler. The four-story, non-smoking hotel has six rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 120 guests. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. Area landmarks and attractions include eight golf courses, the San Diego Zoo, Legoland, San Diego Wild Animal Park and the Quail Botanical Gardens. Corporate offices close to the hotel include Sony, NCR, BAE Systems, Northrop Grumman and HP.

Travelers to San Diego had many good things to say about this Courtyard. The location is good, close to the freeway but far enough away to avoid the noise, the accommodation is clean and modern and the employees made that extra effort is insure everyone had a good stay. The rates were reasonable, considering the location in Rancho Bernardo, and most customers said they would return to this Courtyard on future visits to San Diego’s North Country. All the guestrooms have a large work desk with ergonomic chair and high-speed Internet access, telephone with voicemail, coffee and tea making facilities, television with cable news and movie channels, pay-per-view movies, wet bar, pullout sofa bed, iron and ironing board, alarm clock and a hairdryer. Video games and players are available for rent.

This hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and whirlpool. The hotel’s Café in the Park is open for breakfast and dinner. Room service is available from 5pm until 10pm. Nearby places to eat include the Elephant Bar, a Starbucks Coffee, Café Merlot and Mr. Charlie’s Fortune Cookie. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and can arrange for babysitters. From San Diego Airport (SAN) 25 miles: Turn left on Harbor Drive, left again on Grape Street. Stay in the right lane to I-5 South and then take Hwy 163 North, which later merges and becomes I-15 North. Exit and make a right on Rancho Bernardo Road. Make a right on Bernardo Center Drive, right on Bernardo Plaza Court. The hotel is located at the end of Bernardo Plaza Court.
