This hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the staff was extremely accomodating. Our only complaint was that in the morning, the shower water was lukewarm.

My husband & I stayed at the Westgate last year as a holiday get-a-way. We loved everything about the hotel. Everyone was always friendly. We loved it so much we are going to go there again this year between Christmas & N.Y.

We arrived early and did not expect to be able to check in, but the desk clerk said that our room would be ready in no more than 45 minutes and that we could sit down in the coffee shop in the meanwhile and enjoy a cup of coffee on the house while the maid finished our room. Two and a half hours later, we were still waiting in the lobby for our room. We would have checked our bags and gone on with our day if the clerk had just told us the truth in the first place.

We where wlaking by and asked for direction from the bellman. He was very noice and didn't even want a tip. One of the only free things we got in San Diego.

This hotel is outstanding, and we are very demanding travelers. The only problem that came up during our stay was a loud party in the next room (for this hotel, this was bizarre). The security people had the problem solved and the party dispatched within 15 minutes. Nicely done.

I got the "Le Romantique" package as well and everything that was promised was delivered - and more. We received a personalized welcome call, turn down service every night, and the valets came to know our car so well that they didn't even wait for our ticket. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who feels like being pampered. It's not a resort, but if you need to get away and feel pampered, this is the place to do it.

After purchasing the "Le Romantique" Package nothing promised was delivered before several phone calls had to be made. Then everything was late or misschedule and not received at all. Front desk simply makes excuses and blames someone else for the problem.
