The 176-room Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Old Town combines old-world charm with modern day comfort for both the business and leisure traveler. The four-story, non-smoking property is within walking distance of the old town and the hotel sells tickets for trolley tours. Items included in the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There are four meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 170 guests. Other attractions within easy driving distance include eight golf courses, the San Diego Zoo, Legoland, San Diego Wild Animal Park, Del Mar Racetrack and the Quail Botanical Gardens.

The location, just two blocks from the old town, was the attraction for many visitors to this Courtyard. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the employees were friendly and efficient. There are 150 shops and restaurants to explore nearby. So the swimming pool was the perfect place to relax after sightseeing – or a day of work. All the guestrooms, and 16 suites, have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, two-line telephone with voicemail and speakerphone, coffee and tea making facilities, 32-inch flat-screen television with cable news and movie channels, pay-per-view movies, iron and ironing board, alarm clock and a hairdryer. Video games and players are available for rent.

There is an outdoor heated swimming pool, whirlpool and a fitness room. The hotel offers in-room massage and spa services. The on-site Gila House Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and room service is available from 5pm until 10pm.
