Customer Reviews for Bay Inn and Suites at Seaworld

More than we expected - posted on 01/10/2006

I gave it 5 stars because for the great price, we didn't know what to expect. But it turned out great. They even called our room to make sure everything was fine. The water was hot. The frig cold. The micro worked. And DOZENS of cable channels. The only thing was the age of the room. It had that old motel smell. The shower in the next room sounded like it was it our room. But overall, again, for the price, it was perfect for us.

Dirty - posted on 01/06/2006

The rooms were dirty - carpet needs replaced or cleaned well. We stayed for 1 night - if we were staying longer we would have found another hotel. THe one bright spot was the resturant attached - I didn't expect much - but the food was great

Travelodge stay - posted on 12/07/2005

The hotel was clean and a good price. Quick to downtown and the beaches. It wasn't in the greatest area of town and it was very close to the airport, so it was hard to sleep with all the noise from the planes. On a busy road that is traveled frequently throughout the night - also noisy. Overall it is a cheap place to stay that isn't too bad for a short visit.

Don't stay here! - posted on 10/27/2005

We arrived and carried our bags to our room only to find ants. I asked for another room and we moved only to find more ants. We were given a third room and still there were ants. My son's feet turned black from walking on the carpet. We left after an hour at this place and found a better place on Hotel Circle

When budget matters - posted on 10/18/2005

This hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The location left a lot to be desired. It's not really close to Sea World and is across from a stip club (there are actually 4 in the neighborhood). If you just need a clean place to sleep this is a good choice. If you have a car it is located near several major roads to get around SD.

Overall, an acceptable accomodation for those on a budget wishing to be near to Seaworld. Several restaurants close-by or within walking distance.

Close to SeaWorld - posted on 08/20/2005

This property is literally just a few minutes from Sea World. The room was clean, had a coffee maker, hairdryer and standard amenities. Room was clean overall but the carpet seemed a bit used (like it was overshampooed or something). IHOP right next door if you like that chain.

Basic Hotel - posted on 05/25/2005

Stayed here two different nights while on vacation in S. Cal. Rooms are a bit small, but otherwise no problem. The 'continental breakfast' was just coffee and a danish - there's an IHOP next door if you want something more substantial. Basic hotel - if you're just looking for a place to sleep for the night, this fits the bill.

good for family vacation - posted on 05/22/2005

My husband and I chose this hotel for our trip to San Diego. We wanted to take our two year old to Sea World and the zoo. this hotel was perfect for us. It was close to everything we wanted to do. It was clean and inexpensive. We would stay there again.

Disgusting - posted on 05/20/2005

The carpet in our room remained damp thoughout our 2 day stay. It was so filthy and it made our feet black. After that I felt too disgusted to walk on it with my bare feet. The continental breakfast was a joke. They had some "almost bite size" muffins and dainishes with a sign posted above; "one item per person."
