Humphrey’s Half Moon Inn & Suites is a great choice for business and leisure travelers alike, providing a comfortable atmosphere that encourages relaxation and respite. Located on the waterfront on Shelter Island, and only 5 minutes from the San Diego International Airport, the hotel puts guests within close proximity to all of the popular area attractions. The area boasts numerous outdoor and water activities, while the hotel itself features an on-site restaurant, pool bar, music club, and spa. The concierge will also be happy to help you plan activities in and around San Diego. The Gaslamp Quarter, Seaport Village, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, and Legoland are all nearby -- and don't forget that a day trip to Tijuana, Mexico is only 21 miles away.

The location is fantastic, the hotel grounds and views are beautiful, the staff members are extremely friendly, and the price is great. The food at the on-site restaurant is also top-notch, and it is very popular with locals and visitors alike. However some guests have been disappointed with the lack of soundproofing and lack of updated interiors in the guest rooms, but it appears that as of August 2008 the hotel has begun a full renovation of the guest rooms which will hopefully remedy those issues.
