The service was excellent. The valet parking attendants were fast and friendly. Comfortable beds. The extra perks on the club floor were great. Overall beautiful hotel and beautiful area.

Really comfortable beds, great desk staff. The gym next door is very nice.

Front desk was most accommodating and offered many suggestions for sightseeing, as well as robes, toiletries needed, and directions. Rooms were very up to date, and linens particularly nice.

This place is the only hotel I would ever stay at because service was awesome, along with food and treatment. This place earns 50 thumbs up as well as stars.

The Hyatt Regency had a relaxed setting with modern and updated rooms. Service was above average, but the location of the hotel was what would make me come back.

We were treated like royalty by everyone we came in contact with. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in my whole life. Breakfast in Bed was delicious, room was clean, and they fulfilled every special request that I had. Awesome Hotel!

Very nice. There was a good restaurant near by called ELIJAH'S, was good food and not expensive. The rooms, I thought, were a little small but not much, however they were very clean. The service is great and they will do anything to make your stay more pleasant. The parking is $22.00 per night so if you stay for a week or more you are pretty much taking your car on vacation too. The pool is large, clean, and heated but it is outside. We had a great stay.
Great Place! - posted on 12/25/2004
Everything about this hotel is beautiful. The front desk staff was very courteous and friendly. I recommend you park on the limited (but free!) parking on the street, it beats paying $22 bucks a day and it's at a safe location. Great restaurants are just steps away.

This Hyatt is a joy to stay at. The rooms are nicely appointed and the public areas are very chic. We had an annoying drunk in the next room that banged on the walls at 2:00am, but management promptly took care of us with a very nice apology and gift. I would stay here again, just for the impeccable service. I wouldn't recommend the parking, as it's really expensive. There's limited street parking that's free outside and it's very safe.

Very friendly staff, clean room with modern facilities. Large heated pool and choice of 3 onsite resturants. Would stay here again.

I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly and everything was very clean. I was very impressed at the appearance both inside and outside the hotel. It was well worth the money. The location was perfect for what we planned on doing. I do recommend renting a car though, as it is not close to any major attractions.

For what this hotel was rated we were very disappointed with the room. The carpet was worn, the bathroom was dated and there was mold in the bathroom. The shower fixture didn't work.. which they fixed within a few hours. If you are not picky about mold.. which I am.. it is a decent place, but not for the price. The staff is definitely very friendly. Ask for a room not facing the street ... you can hear the traffic at night.

We always like to stay at a Hyatt and this one is one of the best. However, the Japanese restaurant where we dined out was not very accomodiating. We requested for utentsils to take up to our room and was told by the server that there were no untensils avaliable. When I mentioned this to the front desk, the manager graciously apologized and offered to credit our food. I think this was very nice and a definite Hyatt service. We will return to this establishment again.
expecting more... - posted on 06/14/2006
For the rate of the room/hotel, I expected more out of the location and bathroom quality. I have stayed in other hotels on the beach in Santa Monica that were nicer and of the same price. Review other hotels and locations before choosing this particular hotel.
