Employees were most accommodating, friendly, and helpful, particularly at front desk, bellmen, housekeeping. Physical property under renovation, original bathroom not good but changed rooms that was much better with Refrig and Microwave. Internet was down2-3 days, very inconvenient when trying to work from hotel. transportation to Sharp hospital wonderful. Room Service food was excellent. Wanted to do Sunday brunch but was being removed 10 minutes before 2:00 so we were turned away. Church service on Sunday a special treat. We will return.

We have stayed in San Diego several times to visit my son who moved there for college. So far, this is the nicest hotel we've stayed at in that price range. Quiet, yet close enough to attractions. Coffee bar! Looked as if they were updating with new furniture. Overall, nice stay; we would stay again.

Checkin was at 3PM but the room wasn't ready until 4PM. I asked for a King No smoking and they offered 2 doubles. I told them no and then had to wait for the right room. Unacceptable

Four Points has some nice features - pool, gym, golf course. There is a nice selection of restaurants within a half mile and quick access to freeways and major attractions. It offers clean and nicely furnished rooms. One of your better hotels within its price range.

decor of hotel - sterile, institutional, bathrooms need repair. hallways all scented by cigarette smoke. LESSON: BEWARE OF ANY HOTEL DISPLAYING ONLY 1 OR 2 PICS W/NONE OF rooms!!!
Very Disappointed - posted on 05/16/2005
The rooms smelled really moldy and stale. The comforters were old and outdated (the bed looked as if my 5 year old made it). Also, when we called down for a toothbrush, we were told that housecleaning was closed and they couldn't get anymore until the next day. :(
Poor Maintenance and False Adverting - posted on 01/15/2005
The first room they gave me had a broken heater/AC unit. They gave me to another room, but its heater/AC was broken, too. The third room had heat but the door lock was falling off. I would have kept complaining but I was tired of moving rooms.Other problems: Their website promises free high-speed Internet access, but they actually charge $9.95 a day for it. The decor is dull grey and the furnishings are all run down.Overall this crummy property is a discredit to its brand. Stay elsewhere!
