I would recommend this hotel. It was clean, conveniently located close to downtown and surrounding attractions. It is good for a quick weekend getaway. The drawback while I was there was that could not access the balcony because of the scaffolding surrounding the entire hotel.

I appreciated how helpful the staff was.

The hotel was outdated and construction was going on that involved scaffolding that spanned the entire building.

The hotel is going to be a very nice one from the designs I seen. But right now they are remodeling so it's not to regular standards I'm sure.

While the staff was excellent, our air conditioner was broken. Room was tired and worn. Bath ceiling had cracks and mildew. Would not recommend this to anyone. And I am generally easy to please and not a complainer by nature!

Business travelers can take advantage of the room's high speed internet access and data ports available to finish last minute reports and remain connected with the boss (while enjoying San Diego). If you want to be really comfortable, ask for large king or queen-sized beds.

It is a great hotel for a one night stay. Rooms are clean and spacious, though not too modern. The Deluxe Rooms are worth the extra expense if you plan to relax in doors. The breakfast is what you can expect from a chain hotel. A downside: you may find noise coming from traffic along the Pacific Highway and the airport over bearing. There are no restaurants nearby, so you`ll need to drive. The staff is always ready to wait on guests. The pool is small and by the busy street.
