The 126-room Comfort Suites Mission Valley is near Old Town San Diego and provides a range of accommodation designed for both the vacationer and the business traveler. Items included with the room rate at this non-smoking hotel are a deluxe continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a newspaper on weekday mornings and in-room coffee. The property is a 10-minute drive from San Diego Airport. Area landmarks and attractions include the SeaWorld theme park, the Gaslamp District, the Port of San Diego, the San Diego Zoo, Mission Beach, Coronado Beach, the Riverwalk Golf Club and shopping at Fashion Valley Mall which is two miles from the hotel.

There must have been some changes made at this Comfort Suites. More recent visitors were happy with their stay here and said thanks to the friendly and efficient staff and nicely equipped suites it proved to be a good decision. Earlier guests had complained about not-so-friendly workers. The latest visitors report that the rates are very reasonable for the good location. The only complaint that continues is that the suites are not the largest – particularly if you add cribs. Comfort Suites Mission Valley Accommodations

All the rooms have a work area with high-speed Internet access, television with cable movie and news channels, coffeemaker, iron and ironing board, alarm clock-radio, hairdryer and telephone with dataports. The more expensive two-room suites have a bedroom with a king or two double beds and a living room separated by French doors. These rooms also include sofa sleepers, microwave oven, refrigerator and two remote-controlled televisions. The kids' suites have a bedroom with bunk beds, television, Nintendo video-game console and an activity table. The parents' bedroom is separated by French doors and includes king beds and remote-controlled television.

This inn has an outdoor heated swimming pool, hot tub, whirlpool and a games room. The 24-hour front desk has information on area events and attractions and can assist with copy and fax needs. Other amenities include daily housekeeping, a guest laundry and ice and vending machines. The complimentary breakfast is the only meal served here. There is a Benihana Japanese Steakhouse and the El Torito Mexican Restaurant adjacent to the property. Other places to eat nearby include a Denny’s, Wendy’s, TGI Fridays and the In Cahoots Dance Hall.
