Customer Reviews for Best Western Blue Sea Lodge

Great staff, location and facility. - posted on 11/29/2006

The staff here was absolutely FANTASTIC. Some of the friendliest folks we encountered on our trip! The combination of the beachfront location, with a pool & hot tub made the entire facility everything we could ask for.It was very clean, too. While there was no restaurant, the coffee shop that was open each morning was exactly what we needed, with breakfast items for the kids and parents.

noisy hotel with very poor service and parking - posted on 08/02/2006

The hotel is loud and there are many noisy young people up all night yelling and partying. We heard people running up and down the halways all night. The front desk is indifferent. Our car was dented in the parking garage which is below the hotel and very small. This hotel is not for families.

very enjoyable - posted on 10/17/2005

We had a great time here. The beach "People" are part of the expirence and are very harmless. The area is a very laid back hippie feel to it. We walked on the boardwalk morning to night with no trouble. The view from our room was great. The pool was warm. Our room was very hot when we got there and the air conditioner appeared to be broken. They immediately moved us to another room. Very secure location.

Atrocious - posted on 08/27/2005

Front desk staff was indifferent at best. Our room smelled worse than a high school locker room and appeared to have been decorated in the 70's by a visually-impaired decorator. We were completely disappointed.

Best Western on the Beach - posted on 08/17/2005

We stayed 2 nights here but did not spend much time at the hotel. We did not use the pool or hot tub. Our room overlooked the pool and you could see the beach and ocean. Five minute drive to Sea World. Room had fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Staff was pleasant. My only complaint is they did not have an elevator at street level and we had to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs to get to the elevator.

Rooms are VERY small and smell stale. NOT a family hotel. Loud partiers until 2:00 A.M. Air conditoner dripped all night, partially onto my husband. Alley way and trash bins as you enter the hotel. Don't waste your money on this one!! YUCK!!

unsure of stay - posted on 04/05/2005

Room was very clean but the hot tub was absolutely disgusting. After using the tub we noticed a pungent odor on our bodies. Never once received an appology after complaining. A lot of punks hang out around the hotel. Definetly a place for spring breakers, not a place to relax. Be careful of getting ocean view. Turned out to be worse than partial ocean view. Good restaurants in the area. Close to airports. Hotel itself was clean.
